YSL F/W 2012-13 MENSWEAR COLLECTION

Another Fall/Winter 2012-2013 menswear collection, aside from Acne's, that really inspired me and really got me going was Yves Saint Laurent's. The collection is impeccable, in my opinion. The photos above display a handful of my favorite looks from the collection. The tailoring is absolutely beautiful! There's also an existing futuristic feel because of the use of the leather. One of my favorite pieces in this collection are the footwear; particularly the loafers. The loafers, I very much covet; the metal accent on it just gives it so much appeal. Yes, they're simple, but they really do look great.

TAGAYTAY WEEKEND

Went on a trip to Tagyatay City, Philippines last weekend with my family to celebrate my dad's birthday. I strongly suggest that you watch the sunrise at the view deck of Taal Vista Hotel, if you happen to stay there; it's beautiful (well, most of the time; when the weather's not gloomy)! Also, what's great about going to Tagaytay is that the weather there's fantastic! It's one of the cooler places here in the Philippines, and it's not that far from where I live, to be honest; which makes it easy to go there.

I actually shot this look a while back; but not too long ago. I thought it'd be fun to wear this Krispy Kreme paper hat that you get when you buy their doughnuts. It makes me feel like I'm a kid, to be honest; well, at least a younger kid, since I still am one. Also, I found that I hardly incorporate belts in my looks anymore, so it's great that I'm wearing one in this look. Belts can really secure an outfit, if you know what I mean lol. Anyway, setting aside clothing for now, I want to stress how important eating is; specially for us teens. Don't ever starve yourself because you want to lose weight and be skinnier. Do it right by eating healthy and by exercising; it's not impossible! Eating is an important thing; trust me. A little boost of self-esteem'll also help a lot. Love yourself! It'll work you wonders.

ACNE F/W 2012-13 MENSWEAR COLLECTION

These are a handful of my favorite looks from Acne's beautiful Fall/Winter 2012-2013 menswear collection. Such an amazing collection, this one; inspired by the powerful relationship between love and insecurity. I've a great liking to the color scheme, to the layering, and also to the wonderful prints. Though as for the colors, I think I'm gravitating more towards the darker hues rather than the brighter ones; but nonetheless, I still appreciate the use of the brighter colors in the collection. I think it definitely brings more excitement to the whole thing.

THE FORT

These were just some photos taken on a day in Bonifacio High Street, and Serendra in Taguig City with my cousins, my sisters, and my aunt. This happened sort of a while back; back in December of 2011. We just did it to have a good time. But also for them to try Jamba Juice (since I've already tried it before), and to visit the Doc Martens pop-up store in The Fort Strip. Though as excited as I was to finally get to visit the Doc Marten's store, we soon found out as we reached the store's door that it was still closed. Sadly, we didn't have time to wait for it to open, so we were left with no choice but to leave. I still hope to get to visit the pop-up store soon!
